James Proimos is an author, illustrator, and thinker-upper of big ideas.
For example, he is the designer and co-creator of the popular animated
spokespets Nacho and Dog. James is also the author and illustrator of
the highly acclaimed
Joe's Wish
(1998), which was his first book for children,
and his delightful new book,
The Loudness of Sam (1999).
In a former life, James was an advertising bigwig who garned an an inordinate amount of press, along with Clios, One Shows and a ton of other fancy-pant awards. We asked our resident author and illustrator, Brendan Horgan, to interview the multi-talented Mr. Proimos. Here are the results. |
