Folk Robot

"FOLK ROBOT"

This image, which we have named "Folk Robot", was sent to us by Casey Shermer. Here is what Casey has to say about the robot.

"This robot, which I think is the coolest robot I have ever seen, is a mask/homemade folk art peice. It is wearable art I suppose. It was sold for 100 and some odd dollars in an auction, and I didn't win, unfortunately, but I did get this picture :) It was made out of found parts including a fan blade, a large cardboard tube and an actual glass eye! The lights in the top of the head lit up as well with 4 D-cell batteries. I'm afraid I don't know the artist's name. As far as me, I'm a freshman at Rogue Community College as yet undeclared (my major that is). I try to stay busy collecting my own 'found objects' for the robot I intend to build -- I've already got a metal lunchbox for the head."

If anyone has any other information on this robot, please contact us. Thanks!
