Lost in Space AHI Robot

The new Lost in Space movie was released on April 3, 1998.
In honor of this important occasion in the world of robots, we continue to feature various Lost in Space - related robots. This month we are are featuring the second Lost in Space robot toy, Lost in Space AHI Robot. This plastic and metal robot is 10" tall and was manufactured in Hong Kong by Azrak-Hamway Int'l (AHI) in 1977 (serial #6813). This battery-powered robot is based on the robot in the classic TV series, Lost in Space. It walks on two legs, aided by wheels, with a side-to-side, stop and go movement. It also has blinking head light and chest plate, with sound effects.

The Museum of Lost in Space Collectibles has its own
