Lost in Space Robot B-9

A new classic is re-born!!
The new Lost in Space movie was released on April 3, 1998. In honor of this important occasion in the world of robots, we have been featuring, and will continue to feature during the coming year various Lost in Space - related robots. This month we present the very collectible new Robot B-9, based on the robot from The Lost in Space classic TV series. The image at the left shows the box front (with inserted photo) of this classic new toy from Trendmasters (Item #08148, © 1997 Space Productions and Trendmasters Inc.; licensed by New Line Cinema) made in conjunction with the movie's release. This battery-powered plastic toy is 10 1/2" high, and has a variety of features including: Pop-Out Arms, Motorized Rolling Action, and Gripping Manipulator Claws. The picture on the back of the box details these and other features. Pressing the buttons on the front on the robot produces flashing lights, sounds, and a rotating body.
