Lost in Space Remco Robot

The new Lost in Space movie was released on April 3, 1998.
In honor of this important occasion in the world of robots, we continue to feature various Lost in Space - related robots. This month we are are featuring the original Lost in Space robot toy, Lost in Space Remco Robot. This large ( 12 1/2" ) plastic robot was manufactured in the United States by Remco Industries (item #760). This battery-powered robot is based on the robot in the classic TV series, Lost in Space. It has motorized wheels and can roll straight ahead or turn to either side. It also has blinking lights and movable gripping arms that are manually controlled. The Lost in Space Remco Robot was manufactured in a number of color variations. An alternate color scheme can also be viewed.
