Robby Space Patrol
(also know as Mechanized Robot) was manufactured in Japan
by Nomura in the 1950s.
This very collectible battery-powered toy is a combination robot/vehicle
that is based on the initial appearance of the Robbie the Robot character
in the classic movie Forbidden Planet.
The toy is made mostly of tin, with some plastic parts.
Its size is 330 X 150 X 225 mm.
The photos on this page are of a reproduction version of the robot.
