This month we have a special treat for you -- our first animated robot: Slappy the Robot. Slappy is the creation of Joseph O. Holmes and was featured in the November and December 1997 issues of MacADDICT magazine.

These articles are two-part series. The first, how to create a Web animation provides step-by-step information for creating a short looping animation based on 3-4 seconds of videotape. The second, how to make an animated GIF provides instructions for turning a QuickTime movie into an animated GIF. Both are highly recommended.
